Odessa

This is a memory of Odessa, September 2014, the last time I went to that wonderful city. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. I was visiting the Odessa History Museum with friends and there was this beautiful piano, and the caretaker told me I could play it. I hope it bodes well for peace. It is my interpretation of the aria “Maria” from Bernstein’s West Side Story.
